THE
MOST IMPORTANT CHURCH IN THE WORLD
- St. Peter's Cathedral is the magnificent
work of Michelangelo and the most important and largest
church in the world and in the heart of the Christian world.
Located in Vatican City, it was built above the tomb where
St. Peter was buried and commissioned by the Emperor Constantine
in the 4th Century. In 1506 Bramante began the new project
for the church and later it was worked on by the famous
Michelangelo and then the architect Maderno built it to
its present form. The Cathedral is one of the largest and
most majestic works of architecture ever done in the world.
In the same area as where you marry, you will find the world
known masterpiece of Michelangelo's "Pietà".
- Weddings in the incredibly famous St. Peter's
Cathedral take place in the "Chapel of the Chorus"
which is on the left side of the main cathedral and is very
large and beautiful and filled with important paintings.
There are two guards that guard it so no one can enter during
your wedding so that it is completely private for you.
- Catholic weddings are celebrated here and
it can hold up to 80 people.
- Regarding music permitted: organists, violins
and soprano singers are allowed.
